Daily News Sun

The Daily News-Sun publishes five-days a week as a viable low-cost newspaper.

Readers enjoy the Daily News-Sun’s generic content that people generally expect from a daily newspaper, including world, national, state and Phoenix-metro area news, sports, columnists, crosswords, comics, puzzles, full-day TV grids, history, ads and coupons. Plus, we encourage and facilitate the community’s discussion of public issues with our popular opinions pages.

The Daily News-Sun has a long history in the West Valley establishing in 1956, and eventually becoming the only local daily newspaper to serve the West Valley suburbs of metropolitan Phoenix. The Daily News-Sun published its first newspaper in 1957.

Independent Newsmedia acquired the Daily News-Sun in July of 2016. Independent Newsmedia is the owner of the Sun City Independent and eight other weekly newspapers and websites in the Phoenix-metro area as well as Sun Life Magazine. The company publishes the single largest circulation in the West Valley market in Arizona
