Student hit by car outside Liberty High School in Peoria
A Liberty High School student was hit by a car outside the school Monday morning.
Brandon Sheffert, a Peoria police spokesman, said the student was crossing a crosswalk and struck by a vehicle.
He said the student was a alert and conscious and was taken to a nearby hospital with non life threatening injuries for evaluation.
