Surprise police seek shoplifters in two separate incidents

The Surprise Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying two people who shoplifted from two separate stores in the city.

On August 4 at about 9 p.m., a female suspect enter Circle K, 12707 W. Grand Ave. in Surprise, and shoplifted a bottle of wine. The woman then left the store on foot.

Earlier this year on April 23, at about 9:30 a.m., a man entered the Target store near Bell Road and Grand Avenue and shoplifted two video game controllers by hiding them in his pants. The man left the store on foot.

In a tweet, Wednesday afternoon, Surprise police said the Target suspect has been identified. Police are still searching for the man.
