League of Women Voters to host representative

The Northwest Maricopa County League of Women Voters will host District 24 Rep. Ken Clark (D-Phoenix) during its next meeting.

Mr. Clark will speak on the future of Arizona elections at the group’s annual luncheon meeting noon Saturday, April 15 at the Briarwood Country Club, 20800 N. 135th Ave., Sun City West. Mr. Clark, who is scheduled to speak at 1 p.m., is actively working on measures to halt voter suppression.

The lunch menu will include chicken salad and dessert. The public can pre-register by Thursday, April 13 for the luncheon, which costs $21, at www.brownpapertickets.com.

There is no charge to come and listen to Mr. Clark’s presentation.
