The City of Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex is now registering for its Tennis University – an eleven-week program for beginner tennis players ages 18 and up.

Tennis University provides a structured framework for learning the game of tennis, offering: six weeks of instruction; four weeks of supervised match play; pre-match drills and coaching; and a week of in-game competition while playing in a non-elimination tournament.

Classes begin Feb. 21 and are on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex, located at 14469 W. Paradise Lane.

Students will not only learn the fundamentals of tennis, but will also receive complimentary walk-on court time, ball basket rental and demo racquet use during their session. Spaces are limited for each class and fill fast, so call and reserve your spot today.

To register, or for more information, contact the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex at 623.222.2400. For a complete listing of all upcoming classes and tennis leagues visit www.surpriseaz.gov/tennis.
